Romanza Week – Celebrating Spanish St. Augustine

There’s a full week of events in store for St. Augustine as we work our way to the City’s 450th birthday celbration in 2015. Romanza Week is May 14-20, 2012, kicks-off four years celebrating St. Augustine as “the oldest continually occupied European Settlement in the Continental United States.” For more a schedule of events (some are free) see Romanza: Where the Arts Embrace the Sea.

There will be a performance by Fermin Spanish Guitar on Saturday during “Viva Espana,” celebration of Spanish music and dance at the Kirk Auditorium. The St. Augustine Ballet will also be performing some classical ballet pieces. This is going to be fantastic!
